Hope Friday finds you in your best mood, ready for the first weekend of spring. I’m imagining long walks under the sun, holding a cold coffee and eating lots of falafels. Things might not end up being so perfect, but I’m already excited about this week so nothing can disturb my positive mood. This week I started using Photoshop for the first time! I wake up every morning wanting to learn more about it and I’m still wondering why I haven’t tried it earlier?
How about you? How was this past week? Let me know in the comments ❤
Spring is here so I thought that it would be a really good idea to post something that would help to start building your spring wardrobe. As a person I don’t really like “complicated” fashion. I try to stick to classic pieces and maintain a minimal look.
I could think of 4 Spring Essentials, which are so easy to purchase and some of you might already own some of them!
The first one, is a Denim Jacket. Spring weather is kind of a mystery. In the morning and in the evening it might be cold, whilst in the middle of the day, it might be colder. So a denim jacket is the perfect solution for this kind of situations. Also, since it’s a classic, you can find really cheap and quality pieces, if you go thrift shopping. Another good aspect is the fact that you can dress it up or down very easily. A denim jacket looks good either you wear your adidas or your heels. Lastly, denim is fabric that you can easily customize. There are tons of tutorials on YouTube which show you how to paint or decorate your jacket, in order to make it really unique!
The second essential in my opinion, are White Pants. In the winter, we tend to wear darker colours. Spring is the time to brighten things up a little bit. So why not try to add a white pair of pants in your wardrobe. I know that it can be a tricky colour. Even I was scared to wear white pants, because I have curves. But then I tried these pants from Zara and I realized that it’s not the colour that matters, but how it fits your body. This is the link to the pants that I’m wearing!
Third essential is the “Spring Flexible Shoes”. What I mean by that, is that you have to find the shoes that work for your style and are comfortable at the same time. For me Oxford-Style shoes are perfect, but that doesn’t mean that they can match your personal look. So try to do a little bit of research so you can find the perfect pair for you! Two tips that helped me to choose the right pair of shoes, were 1. Choose quality and 2. Choose simplicity.
Fourth and last essential for spring time, is of course Red Lipstick. It might seem obvious but truth is, a very small amount of people, own the right red lipstick. There are so many tones you can choose from, so it’s so easy to make a mistake. What I suggest, is just ask someone who specializes on beauty.
As always I love to give you some inspiration.
So, if you want to change your style and find what really expresses you, now it’s the time, because:
“Spring is a lovely reminder of how beautiful change can truly be”
That was all for today. I’m sure that an amazing weekend waits for you, so go out and enjoy yourselves don’t you dare stay alone ❤
